1990 Lagavulin Distillers Edition 16 Year Old Double Matured liqueursColour: Deep amber. Nose: Just a perfect blend of rather heavy smoke with chocolate. Thats it, smoked chocolate. Other than that its a cortege of soot, strong espresso (ristretto), coal, beef stock and strong liquorice. Mouth: Just as dry as on the nose, very coffeeish and liquoricy, with notes of bitter toffee, malt and stout. And peat, of course. Also hints of coriander.
