CONDITION: Good - the Enamel stripes are a little faded

It’s in excellent condition and has room for two further windows to be added to create four compartments to store beloved family photographs or your own lock of hair

The chain is dated 1905 and has been fitted with a newer medallion marked 1909

The Horseshoe has long been a symbol of good luck and became a popular image in Victorian jewellery when there was an increase in superstition
