Most of his work begins on the wheel before being added to and subtracted from, altering the initial round forms in search of a liveliness and freshness that carries through the entire making process. His firing method, using a wood kiln and spraying a small quantity of soda ash

introducing them to a "first level" and creating a desire to discover more about what they see
