Saffron Queen Size:3 gal sizeCreated in England in the 1950's, this lepidote rhododendron is quite vigorous, growing to 10 ft tall and 15 ft. wide over many years. There is a mature specimen at the Mendocino Botanical Garden in Fort Bragg, CA that has been pruned to fit a bench under it. You can sit on the bench with yellow flowers all around and over you.
