It is aged in White Oak Barrels for a minimum of 5 years. With notes or a Burnt Sugar cane and notes of Toffee and Caramel running throughout.

The key focus for this release is Single Malts from the Islands which are then treated to a finish in 200 litre first fill Bourbon Cask Staves and Toasted European Oak Cask heads

however it isn't actually produced there

The Spice Tree is made from Highland malt whiskies which are aged in custom-made casks fitted with new French oak heads
