pottery bowl, serving bowl with ferns, FREE SHIPPING, small ceramic serving bowl pink mugThis is a nice big fern bowl that would be perfect as a pottery serving bowl, for Thanksgiving or another holiday as a serving dish. I threw it out of stoneware clay of different colors mixed together (agateware), handbuilt the ferns and handles, trimmed the bottom to form a foot ring, fired it, glazed with transparent green, brown, and clear glazes, and fired again to 2185 F. The glazes are food safe, and even un glazed portions are non porous.
