Old Stewart Wooden Moulding Plane (Beech) b6An old Stewart wooden moulding plane. Front nose is marked 'Stewart'. This plane we believe likely dates to the late 1700's it could be into the 1800's.. Body Width: 55mm Condition: all parts move freely, the cutter is a more recent replacement by a previous owner, the cutter sits proud at the side, a few small shrinkage splits to front nose, please see photos for condition.

The thinner screwdriver is marked 'Made In Sheffield'

Condition: the wedge may need a tiny bit of letting as it is a little fiddly setting the blade

blade is heavily pitted in places with black staining
