Recorded almost twenty years ago at the legendary Toe Rag studios, and produced in part by US underground musician Bobby Conn, 'The Cribs took the band from DIY heroes to wider public acclaim, thanks to the album's supreme pop melodies (NME) and cult hits such as Another Number and You Were Always The One

and then Parker uses those individual parts to layer and assemble into his final tracks

the master was in awful shape

which led to extensive touring opportunities along rising star contemporaries such as Gilla Band

who put out several decades of funk and soul dating back to 1965

but at least his career ended on a high note

It's an album for people who have dealt with the inevitable sadness that comes with age and acknowledged the realities of life
