Staithes Bead jewellery boxThe picturesque fishing village of Staithes in Yorkshire is backed by towering cliffs that reach onto the North York Moors National Park. We've made this bead using a dark green marbled glass which we have then decorated with white glass patterns to represent the fossils. This bead has then been tumbled to give it a matt finish.

It lies south from East Portsmouth and is a short ferry ride away from Salcombe

I have used re-purposed surfboard fibreglass to create the texture in the wave in this piece

which blends a range of light greens and mint

It’s a busy port and major tourism destination

We start by making a little core in light grey glass which is then rolled in a special blend of Brecon Beacons frit before being melted and swirled in the flame

once we run out these beads will be discontinued

Our lovely Salla bead is made in white glass representing the bright white snow

These are our mini size beads which measure approximately 14mm in diameter

This bead is made with a small core of white glass which has been rolled in a blend of St Bees frit representing the colours of the wild flowers found along coastline
