Domaine Jean Grivot - Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts 2021 (750ml) Garnacha TintoreraA fine and even crimson purple. The bouquet has the classical hillside precision of Beaux Monts, always a favourite cuve of mine here. There is a touch more reserve in this cuve. The ripe red fruit has some darker notes and not the fresh pepper of slightly less ripe cuvees. Linear yet with a fine weight of fruit, and the right tannins to complete the structure. One of the best we have ever made but 5 barrels instead of three times that.
